Sudoku Blanket!
I've used my usual Stylecraft Special DK yarn.
Granny Square version: (4.5mm hook)
Petrol, raspberry, mustard, denim, fuschia purple, gingerbread, cypress, tomato, violet. I used a bit of midnight I was trying to use up, in between each square and black to join the groups of 9 squares and the edging.

You can, of course, use any 9 colours for the squares and a contrast joining yarn.
Or no joining yarn!
For the C2C version: (5mm hook)
Boysenberry, petrol, grape, khaki, gold, copper, cypress, violet, mocha
This one was done using a join as you go method found here.
I had used a different one for the C2C but realised some colours were touching on the diagonal, and I didn't like that! I started doing sudoku like crazy trying to find one that had no diagonals but was coming to the conclusion that it didn't exist when I finally found one.
I then subbed the numbers around to get a 1,2,3... in the centre square, just because!
SO here is that one.
